Usually, when employers think about engaging their employees, they often talk about team building exercises. They often plan going out in the middle of nowhere and doing some sort of physical exercise and similar bonding activities. In fact, there are vast businesses built up around this corporate demand.
Believe it or not, given the interesting preoccupations and interests of the millennial generation, the old ways of building team camaraderie and bonding might not be up to the job. You have to be a little bit more creative. You have to think outside the proverbial box.

Make no mistake about it, a lot of employers automatically believe that if their employees play video games while they are on the clock, this gets in the way of productivity. In fact, a lot of organizations and employers issue very strict rules forbidding game play or any other kind of unauthorized games during office hours.
Now, it’s easy to see why these rules exist. But as I have mentioned above, the old work rules no longer apply in this day and age. We live in the millennial age, at least in terms of work ethic, work perspective, career strategies, and career planning.
Again, the old rules no longer apply. In fact, if your business is engaged in some type of creative enterprise, it’s actually a very good idea to get your staff LoL gaming accounts.
Pretty much all your staff members would know, at least the millennials, what LoL stands for, which of course, is League of Legends. Everybody has fallen in love with League of Legends, and it’s easy to see why.
Get on this bandwagon and let your millennial staff know that you understand them. Let them know that you are willing to bend over backwards to accommodate their needs, their interests, and whatever it is that they find fun.
Once you are able to engage them, this creates an environment where people would be able to let their hair down as far as creativity and imagination are concerned, and this might take your creative business to the next level.
Now, keep in mind that this advice doesn’t apply across the board. For example, if your business involves factory manufacturing and you’re basically teaching your staff to press a button all day, every day, then League of Legends might actually cut down on your team productivity. So make sure that this solution fits the particular circumstances of your business.
